Describe your issue in detail here.
I want to set the first radio button and the first checkbox to be checked on default but when I add the word checked into the input tag I get the following error:

You should not change the inner text of the Loving label.”

Challenge: Check Radio Buttons and Checkboxes by Default

I Just removed the spaces but am still getting the same error

Yeah, sorry about that, I thought there were no spaces in the challenge, but there were. Try it in another browser, your code should work, as far as I can tell. Hope this helps.

@Hopson,

The code you have shared works on my end. Please ensure that you have disabled any extensions that interface with the freeCodeCamp website (such as Dark Mode and Ad Blocker), and set your browser zoom level to 100%. Both of these factors can cause tests to fail erroneously.

Also check if you can update the version of Chrome you’re using. It looks to be old.

I guess it’s this. Tests are using optional chaining which is supported on Chrome Android since version 80, but OP has 79.

Thanks, let me try that.

This was very helpful thank you very much
