Code mysteriously added between steps 10 and 11 in Learn CSS colors

Why is code added in the HTML file then I am not quizzed over the added code? It is very frustrating due to causing loss of time studying. between these steps more code is added than quizzed about, this makes your answer unclear?
I am stuck here due to need clarification on how did you come up with the code. steps 10 -11 Learn CSS colors by building Set of Colored Markers.

Can you please add more details? I am not sure I understand the issue

If you have a question about a specific challenge as it relates to your written code for that challenge, just click the Ask for Help button located on the challenge. It will create a new topic with all code you have written and include a link to the challenge also. You will still be able to ask any questions in the post before submitting it to the forum.

Thank you.

In the section (New) Responsive Web Design Look at the CSS colors by building Set of Colored Markers step 10 code prior to advancing to step 11, check the code in the HTML file before advancing to step 11. The quiz question in step 10 or 11 does not ask anything pertaining to the added code in the HTML file. Some of the code is quizzed about in step 11 .

Can you give an example?

step 10, the starting html code is

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
    <title>Colored Markers</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <h1>CSS Color Markers</h1>
    <div class="container">
    </div>
  </body>
</html>

and it says

Next, within the div , add another div element and give it a class of marker .

And then the code of step 11 is

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
    <title>Colored Markers</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <h1>CSS Color Markers</h1>
    <div class="container">
      <div class="marker">
      </div>
    </div>
  </body>
</html>

the difference is just that div
I don’t see anything added without saying so

The above is step 10
The below is step 11 without adding any code. CSS file is ok.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
    <title>Colored Markers</title>

  </head>
  <body>
    <h1>CSS Color Markers</h1>
    <div class="container">
      <div class="marker one">
      </div>
      <div class="marker">
      </div>
      <div class="marker">
      </div>
    </div>
  </body>
</html>

As you can see my account code is not the same as yours? Also it will not accept the correct answer as I do use what is correct but the extra code has things messed up.

And my get help button is not showing.

Sounds like a cache issue.

Maybe you did this challenge when not logged in and it saved it to localStorage. Try clearing the browser cache and do a hard refresh Shift + F5

it will show if you fail to pass the tests a few times. Try to restart the step instead.

I restarted twice then it correcting the extra code but the help button still not showing? I will clear cache, log out/in and restart couple more times.

You have to fail the check several times (3 i think), like Ctrl + Enter three times and then the “Ask for Help” Button appears above “Restart Step”
