Hello fellow campers!
I’ve used Flask (Python Backend Framework) to construct the backend of it and HTML/CSS/JS, Ace Code Editors & Font Awesome to make the frontend.
CodeCrystals is a site like codepen where you can make frontend projects, share them, and communicate with others.
I have never done Notifications before and I finally got it to work.
Some features include a live website that you can share, a live preview as well as an in-browser one that updates as fast as you can code, and a fully-functional editor.
I am really proud of my project as I have entered it into a hackathon and also created it in about fourteen hours.
If it is not working, you can go here to get exactly the same result.
This is amazing! The fact that you were able to make it in 14 hours is even more impressive! I do have one complaint though, is there a way to separate the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?
I found it really difficult to write in-line CSS.
You have so much talent and this product is so cool! I hope you get great responses at the hackathon!
Thank you! Seperating editors is quite difficult and I might be able to do that in the future, but I’m quite busy now. I entered the hackathon but sadly they changed one of the requirements after I joined and didn’t count me in. It was still really fun making this though.
You don’t have to do inline CSS. Create a style tag in the HTML.
