Hello,
I feel like I am losing my mind.
I recently started the Relational database course and I successfully completed the learn Bash task using local setup (DevContainers, docker desktop, code road), I now want to do the next workshop, build a character database, but I cannot for the life of me figure how to rest CodeRoad so I can paste in a new URL.
Things I have tried:
- Followed the instructions in the docker Readme to switch or restart projects
- Deleting all containers from docker and rebuilding and reopening
- Deleting all trace of the rdb-alpha folder off of my computer and re cloning the git rdb-alpha link
- Cloning the container, whilst in the container, re-entering my user token, rebuilding the container. This method got me the closest as it allowed me to enter a new CodeRoad URL but then it was not picking up what I was entering into the terminal no matter what I tried.
But yeah quite literally every method I can think of short of factory resetting my computer leads to when I do CodeRoad: Start, reopening the learn bash tutorial.
I did successfully start the character database using the codespaces method, but now I cannot figure out how to pick up where I left off on that, even after following the instructions.
It’s honestly super frustrating and I don’t quite understand why there’s no button in the CodeRoad screen to start a new topic easily. Maybe I’m missing something? But it’s starting to feel like I need PhD in Computing to be able to do these courses.
Thanks in advance for any help
