Coloring input fields

hi freecodecamp haven’t been on here in ages
but to cut a long story short, i’m trying to customize a form i’ve created myself
yes i’v finally learnt lol… now i have input fields

To:

Message:

Song Request:

now i would like to make eachone a different color?

so i’ve been doing an exorcize on w3schools but i can’t for the life of me change each box to a different color here’s the exorcize i’ve been doing https://pastebin.com/m0aAGYCe

but my acutal form is on my desktop aha but in my style.css on my desktop i have this .box { text-align: center; border: 3px solid blue; border-top: 4px solid rgb(102, 204, 255); border-top: 5px solid rgb(0, 0, 0); box-shadow: 4px 2px 10px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2); border-radius: 10px; padding: 1px;

any suggestions

Welcome back to the FFC forum. You maybe need JavaScript for coloring the input element I think In html CSS we can only color the input borders.
