I gave you the answer to your problem. You are using two different types of dashes, vs -. Good luck solving this challenge.

Uncommenting HTML means deleting these tags <!-- and -->
ex:
from:

<!--<p>This is a paragraph</p>  -->

To:

<p>This is a paragraph</p>

No you should not do that, we do not allow for duplicate threads.

You can make a new post in your thread to bump it up, but you should only do so if enough time has passed that it is reasonable to do so.

As for the dashes, you may have to turn off smart punctuation on your device
