Are kubernetes, chef, ansible, puppet and salt all configuration management tools or are they different?
What do you mean “configuration management tool”? Those are all tools to help automate parts of setup/deployment, they all do slightly different things, same general reason for existing (apart from Kubernetes) but they all do things slightly differently
