I found the recent article How to Use Developer Tools to Debug JavaScript in the Browser useful, but needed to correct two issues before being able to follow along step-by-step with Kolade Chris’ tutorial.

If not intentional, mods please reject this post and just correct the article.

Otherwise, here’s a hint for other readers: reconcile two constant declarations in the js code with id’s in the html.
