Counting Cards -- first time concatenating numbers and strings?

Did I miss something, or is this exercise expecting students to concatenate numbers and strings without mentioning that this can be done? The only mention of mixing string and number types I’ve noticed so far is under the == and === discussion, where it says that strings will be converted to numbers.

Would be nice to get a link to the exercise to follow-up.

Concatenating a string with a number will result in a string.

Thanks! I figured that out. It just seems to me that this should be mentioned in the lesson text somewhere, before it’s required in an exercise.

Here’s the page I was talking about: https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/javascript-algorithms-and-data-structures/basic-javascript/counting-cards

fcc knew you would figure it out tho
