Tell us what’s happening: I am working on getting the card counting program to work but I can’t seem to find the source for the error that I am getting. “0 Hold” is the only one that is working. All the rest are not presenting the correct results.
I have looked on the hint page and my code looks identical to the naked eye but I am sure there is some subtle difference I am missing that would allow me to get it to pass.
If anyone can spot the issue, I would be incredibly grateful.
Your code so far
var count = 0;
function cc(card) {
// Only change code below this line
switch(card){
case 2:
case 3:
case 4:
case 5:
case 6:
count--;
break;
case 10:
case "J":
case "Q":
case "K":
case "A":
count++;
break;
}
if (count > 0) {
return count + " Bet";
} else {
return count + " Hold";
}
// Only change code above this line
}
// Add/remove calls to test your function.
// Note: Only the last will display
cc(2); cc(3); cc(7); cc('K'); cc('A');
