Challenge: Create a Form Element

Link to the challenge:

This lesson is very similar to the one before but I can’t seem to find anything that would help me. I’m not sure where my error is.

try this…

<form action = "https://freecatphotoapp.com/submit-cat-photo">
 <input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL">
 </form>

I did as you suggested, but it is telling me that the existing input element should be nestled within a form element.

How is the input not within the form?

sorry my misstake

Can you explain what the difference is between the two that you sent me?

I can’t see any difference.

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge.

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.

You can post solutions that invite discussion (like asking how the solution works, or asking about certain parts of the solution). But please don’t just post your solution for the sake of sharing it.
If you post a full passing solution to a challenge and have questions about it, please surround it with
and
tags on the line above and below your solution code.

Honestly that solution didn’t work for me.

I am not sure what is not correct.

And hopefully here is the error; ending tags in quotes? in your code @Mgio

If you fix this everything will be fine

I did see that mistake and I changed it and it still won’t pass me through.

Did you have any extensions? such as dark mode (or) ad blocker because this the common reason for the failing of the tests

@Mgio you are failing your test due to this mistake.

form 2

write URL in uppercase.
