Tell us what’s happening:

I’m trying to learn html right now and the lesson has me stuck on this part where I have to create a form element. As far as I can see I have done everything I should have to get it right but the lesson keeps saying that I havent “nested the text input element within a form element” even though as far as I can tell I have clearly done that. Anyone tell me whats going on here

Your code so far

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>
  <p>Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

  <a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

  <p>Things cats love:</p>
  <ul>
    <li>cat nip</li>
    <li>laser pointers</li>
    <li>lasagna</li>
  </ul>
  <p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>
  <ol>
    <li>flea treatment</li>
    <li>thunder</li>
    <li>other cats</li>
  </ol>
<form input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL" action="/submit-cat-photo"> </form>
<main>

I figured it out but now the forum won’t let me delete this post (I found someone else who’d had pretty much the same issue and was able eventually to figure it out)
