Hello, I’m new here. Recently I had the idea to start my own pen pal website with JavaScript (just because I kind of knew JS). I tried coding on codecademy, but don’t understand anything of it because the English they use if far too correct for me. Can anyone help or has anyone tips?

Well, if you kinda knew JS, then you may start here.
I encourage you, that if you think this module´s english also hard to understand for you, then please write your experience down in an issue on GitHub or maybe here on the forum.
On the long term, you have to get used to professional documentation reading anyway and freeCodeCamp have language courses too:
A2 english
B1 english
You can even choose other language for your website by clicking on the
button near the “Menu” button, but it´s not working for all courses.
