Css Title Help (Please)

Hi guys,

This is driving me crazy and shouldn’t really.

Using WPjobster wordpress theme, and need to center the job titles on mobile devices. Currently it is aligned to the left.

On the mobile it doesn’t look great for smaller titles so wanted to center the job titles on mobile devices.

Potentially also on desktop too.

I tried this but new to this.

@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.single-job-title {
text-align: center;
}
}

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Please provide a link to this page.

Unfortunately just joined so cannot add a link.

Its the wpjobster theme, in the demo if you click on a job, it will open the single job.

Sorry I can’t provide a link.

Thanks for your help, appreciate it.

You can simply type something like:

mywebsite dot some_domain dot com

We’ll read that as https://mywebsite.some_domain.com

You are not going to get much help without showing the code…

Hi, apologies.

demo dot wpjobster dot com slash job slash advertisments slash read-me-first

That’s the main demo, as you will see the job title on the mobile is left aligned, need it centered if possible.

And maybe the desktop version too, not sure yet.

Thanks again, appreciate it.

Hey @Infamous666

So we are talking about, in the demo you linked, the part that says “Job Description”?

\\https://demo.wpjobster.com/job/advertisments/read-me-first/

If so, try moving the css selector to the h2 tag for the text-align: center

<div class="single-job-title-description js-toggle-arrow ui grid js-toggle-wrapper" style="cursor: pointer;">
    <div class="fourteen wide column dynamically dynamically-title">
       <h2 style="text-align:  center;">Job Description</h2>
   </div>

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I’m looking for title itself, in this case “read me first” on the page.

Apologies for the confusion and thanks for your help.

I was under the impression that it would be just a bit of css.

.single-job-title {
text-align: center !important;
}

I’m learning at the moment but this is driving me crazy.

Please post an image of what you want to center using the demo website you gave the link to. The images you are posting do not seem to be from that website, but rather from some website you are trying to build.

Hi @Infamous666,

h1:first-child {
text-align: center;
}

Should do the trick.

Thanks a lot mate, it worked.

Appreciate your time!
