Data Science help?

So I’m in a code boot-camp for data science and i have this mini project to do . All tasks pass but I get an assertion error. I am stumped and i don’t have a mentor yet, maybe because its a month long career track prep course and further along than i am supposed to be… seriously 4 days in and i’m 60% done already so I can sit around and wait for a mentor or i can see if anyone knows anything about data science!

The assert is failing because your reverse_string function doesn’t work.

assert reverse_string("programming") == "gnimmargorp"

Fails because when you call reverse_string("programming") you don’t get “gnimmargorp”.
