Oh man, this one killed me. I thought I was so close and just couldn’t get the loops to work out right. I looked at the hints and I was already doing them. Then I finally caved and looked at the solution…

Programming is not always easy. Solving these problems helps you immensely with your logical reasoning, even if you don’t solve them but genuinely try to. Think of it as practice to improve logic.
Math for programmers is a huge help IMO. Why don’t you take a look at this college algebra course (if you haven’t already, of course)? It may help you improve on this topic.

Sounds like a good idea–algebra was a long time ago! And 7 hours isn’t that bad at all. I’ll do it.
I have to look at the solution too sometimes, when I do I’m like…“I missed something, how in the world did I get here? What in the world is this?”
