In my opinion TOTALLY!
As a graphic designer I think that being able to program increases your portfolio of skills, which of course gives you the opportunity to expand your radio of action and get more clients.
In case you are not willing to make programming part of your job, understanding html, css and js makes helps you a lot when you are designing, for example, an interface that will be coded bu someone else. It also makes you capable of giving a better feedback to the programmer and of course understand what can the language do and what can´t.
