Do i have to donate after a certain part

So im using Linux and i keep getting BS error codes on my coding so does this have to do with me not donating am i deliberately being blocked from progressing.

No. The curriculum works the same for everyone

Does using linux cause issues frequently and is there a stable download created for linux specifically yet?

Linux doesn’t create any particular issues, no. The freeCodeCamp curriculum isn’t downloaded software?

I use Linux as a daily driver, and can’t say I’ve ever had any different experience using this website versus on another OS like Windows. Is your browser giving you error messages, or are the actual projects giving you errors saying the code is not correct? If it’s the project giving you errors: post the step your stuck on, and your code, and everyone is glad to help you solve your problem.

What errors are you getting exactly?

Could be caused by other factors like browser extensions, vpns.

Hard to say when we don’t know what the errors are… could be just related to strict tests if you are talking about differences in whitespace

The only thing that changes when you donate is that it stops asking you to donate and you get a little icon on your profile.

freeCodeCamp should work the same on any operating system and on any of the standard browsers. However, it is possible for your environment to impact the functionality of freeCodeCamp. Usually we see this happening as the result of browser extensions or add-ons or browsers with aggressive security policies that automatically clear local storage while a session is ongoing. Specialty browsers or pre-release browsers may also result in unexpected errors.

If you share specific details about the errors you are seeing, we can try to help you figure out if they result from a bug in freeCodeCamp or are something that can be resolved by changes on your end.
