Doing contract work through Toptal?

What I’ve read of Toptal is that their work pays pretty well, but the interview process is lengthy. Some also say it’s difficult (not others).

Has anyone done work through Toptal? At what point in the FCC curriculum would someone be ready for their type of work?

If you are using FCC as your sole learning resource, it would be pretty difficult to get on here.
