I can’t get this to run. “View more” should be plain text, but appears as a hyperlink. I’ve stared at this for an hour :frowning:

I get: // running test Your a element should not have the text “View more”.
// tests completed.

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>
<p>link to <a href="http://freecodecamp.org"</a>freecodecamp</p>

<p>View more <a
 href="http://freecatphotoapp.com"</a>cat photos </p>

  <img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

  <p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
  <p>Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>
</main>

First of all, please, please, please give us a link to the challenge so we don’t have to search for it.

Your instructions were:

Now nest your existing a element within a new p element (just after the existing main element). The new paragraph should have text that says “View more cat photos”, where “cat photos” is a link, and the rest of the text is plain text.

and you ended up with:

<p>link to <a href="http://freecodecamp.org"</a>freecodecamp</p>

<p>View more <a
 href="http://freecatphotoapp.com"</a>cat photos </p>

You were supposed to nest the existing anchor. Your second version is close. But there is not closing bracket for the start of the anchor. And the anghor text should come after the text, “cat photos”. And I would argue there shouldn’t be a space after “photos”.
