Element value issue CSS

I coded for this step:

.footer {
   font-size: 14px;
}

I don’t immediately see why this exactly is wrong, hope somebody can help! :slight_smile:

Hello,

you need to target the footer element and not the footer class.
The dot in .footer means that you are targeting element with certain class, but you want to target the html footer tag <footer></footer>. You target it just using the tag name (same as for other html tags - h1, p, …)
