Error-Checking Broken?

I am trying to pass the “Use CSS to Style an Element” part of the CSS course. I was supposed to change the color of my h2 element from blue to red.
I’ve read the directions, and copied the code, and my h2 element is visibly red. And yet, the only error in my code is that my h2 element is apparently not red.

  **My code**

<style>
.red-text {
  color: red;
}
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>
<p>Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

  <p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>
  <ol>
    <li>flea treatment</li>
    <li>thunder</li>
    <li>other cats</li>
  </ol>
</div>

As soon as I submitted on the forum, I re-submitted the assignment. And wouldn’t you know it, it was finally accepted.

I hadn’t even considered that my “Dark Reader” browser extension might be causing trouble, thank you for your help!
