Hello everyone,
I was browsing the forum on freeCodeCamp and noticed some long-time users. made me curious about who the oldest user on the freeCodeCamp Forum is?
I think Quincy Larson is oldest
There are a few of us who have been members of the freeCodeCamp community longer than there has been a forum.
Ooooo. Who are they @ArielLeslie, do you have any idea?
You want to know what order the first accounts were created in?
Before the forum, we were on Gitter. Before Gitter we were on Slack.
Who is iheartkode? any fcc staff?
Yo wait… When was fcc created? and why does the system
and mr. quincy
have two shields?
How did system read 122k post in less than a minute
I think freeCodeCamp was first created in 2014? It’s probably google-able somewhere.
Those are indicators related to user roles. “system” is an automation account.
@ArielLeslie Yes fCC was created in 2014,
but why does the system comes first then QuincyLarson?
and why does i heartKode (whitch is not from the staff) does comes first than Quincy?
the @system account is a default account that is created by the system, it is not an user
if you notice the first account is @freeCodeCamp, someone created that before people started creating other accounts. after that, people joined.
But whas he a friend of Quincy Larson, or just a person that knew fCC first than everybody?
I don’t know
This was iheartKode last post
It was like 8 years ago
It could be that this user joined as soon as it was announced, there were other platforms at that time
I asked Ai and he said that the oldest platform like fCC was Codecademy.
i also asked ai to see if he was a Codecademy user and he was.
I meant other freeCodeCamp platforms, there was Gitter in the past, before moving to other chats, I don’t know what came first, Gitter or the forum.
Also, I would not trust the AI on that, there isn’t a publicly available list of users for Codecademy
Maybey @QuincyLarson has an awnser to this topic.
Yes, would not accept anything an LLM says as fact without verification.
