Feedback for Tribute Page - Axis2

I am not used to making tributes pages or writing about someone but here is what I came up with:
My Tribute Page
I found the default colors to look good so I didn’t change them.
Please tell me how I can make it better or if I made any mistakes.

Hi @Axis2!

Welcome to the forum!

I think your page looks good.

Just a few things.

There are some errors in your html that need fixing. Run your code through the html validator.

The formatting in the css is a little inconsistent. I would use the format css tool.

Congrats on finishing your first project.

Keep up the good work!

Welcome to the forums @Axis2. Your page looks good. In addition to what was mentioned previously some things you should revisit;

  • Codepen provides the boilerplate for you. It only expects the code you’d put within the body element in HTML. (No need to include the body tags). For anything you want to add to the <head> element click on the ‘Settings’ button, then HTML and add it into the ‘Stuff for <head>’ box.
    • codepen knows the body tag is there. You don’t need to declare it just to use it in the stylesheet.
  • Accessibility is about being accessible to all users. Review the lesson about giving meaningful text to links. For a more thorough explanation read Web Accessibility in Mind.
    • click here” is not accessible

Not sure if you noticed but even though you’re using the b element and you have a declare font-weight: bold; the text on your page doesn’t render as such. This is because you only imported the normal font weight. The browser will do it’s best but it doesn’t know what bold is. You need to select the normal weight and the bold weight. Your import would look like;
@import url(';700&display=swap');

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I will get working on fixing my page. Thank you.
