Feedback on Product Landing Page / Went for minimalistic feel

Just finished my product landing page. I feel really good that I completed it and think the result came out nice. One thing that’s nagging me is that on smaller screens, the white background on the header covers up the “welcome-text”. If anyone has any suggestions or sees any flaws, please let me know! Thank you.

The logo and the name inspires me to design a website with a circular design.
it would look much better to match a website design with the logo.

You have a id/class “everything”
I’d suggest you to put everything from your welcome section to the form inside of "everything "
and use

.class {
padding-top: 200px;

Welcome to the forums @Dokbokki. Your page looks good. Some things to revisit;

  • Codepen provides the boilerplate for you. It only expects the code you’d put within the body element in the HTML editor. (No need to include the body tags). For anything you want to add to the <head> element click on the ‘Settings’ button, then HTML and add it into the ‘Stuff for <head>’ box.
    • For instance, links to fonts go in the box labeled ‘Stuff for <head>’
  • Run your HTML code through the W3C validator.
    • There are HTML syntax/coding errors you should be aware of and address.
    • Since copy/paste from codepen you can ignore the first warning and first two errors.
  • This (<div id=everything>) is not the correct way to assign a variable to an attribute.
  • This (font-family: Lato, GENERIC_NAME;) is not the correct way to specify a fallback font. Revisit the degrade font lesson.
  • Check that the user has entered a valid email addr. Throw an HTML5 validation error if not.
    • You learned to do this when coding the survey form
  • Have you noticed your video cannot be played/viewed?
    • Rather than providing the URL you need to click the video and select copy embed code.
