This has been discussed millions of billions of times already. Nope. If you are plagiarizing code, you can have your certificate(s) invalidated. I’m not sure if you’re ever formally banned (you’re never going to be banned from the forum just for seeking help), but you don’t want to be doing this for your projects or the required algorithms. Is Freecodecamp certifications recognized by employers?

The FCC certificates aren’t accredited or part of any official certification. Neither are expensive bootcamps. If a potential employer is interested, they could go look at what the requirements are for FCC certificaitons (although I wouldn’t expect this to happen often). As @gebulmer says, the portfolio is much more significant.
