Hi all^^
I just submitted the Simon project and claimed my front-end certificate. Yayyy! :smiley:
That said, there’s no name upon it…is it due to some delay time? Or it would never appear?

Now, i looked here and there and i discovered the beta version of the site…what should i do? I wanted to follow up with the data-visualization path, but i saw a lot of new stuff there, mixed with the old ones…is there a guideline or something( i.e. you got the ‘old’ front-end certificate so you can skip this)…

The name that shows up in the certificate is taken from your GitHub username.

You can go play with the beta version if you like (remember that it’s still in testing and therefor buggy). There’s some good stuff in the new curriculum that isn’t in the current stuff, like ES6 and regular expressions. Your call.

Ah, unfortunately i had no gitHub account until i received the certificate :confused:
Is there a way to adjust it?

By the way, i decided to have a look at the challenges for data visualization in the beta FCC, then to come back here to work on the projects ( the only things i can access to through the map section)…let’s see how it goes!

I think that your certificate will always show your current GitHub username, so if you have you GitHub linked now it should work.
