Font Awesome Pro behind firewall

Anybody on this forum with experience using Font Awesome Pro with a CMS (Drupal, Wordpress, etc…) in a development environment behind a firewall?

How does the FA’s white-listing work on dev servers that have names like ‘localhost’ or are internal domains that aren’t part of the top-level domain structure for a production site?
