Challenge: Create a Form Element

Link to the challenge:

Hi,

  1. palceholder not place older
  2. Do not change the content of placeholder provided

i text corect but doesnt work.
<form action="https://freecatphotoapp.com/submit-cat-photo">
<input>??? this is a problem
</form>

Have you fixed this yet? What’s your updated code?

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

This is wrong

You don’t need to change the input.

Reset the lesson and do not change the input.

i don;t no. where i find the code?
this is a question Nest the existing input element inside a form element and assign "https://freecatphotoapp.com/submit-cat-photo" to the action attribute of the form element.

do you no the answer? i tried everthing

`<form action="hfhfjfgkgkgk">
<input type="text" place holder="https://bllgtktgkgk">
</form>

and dont work``

When you reset the lesson, you should see this as the input.

 <input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL">

If you see that like I do, then do not touch it.
There is no need to edit any of that.

Then you can place this

<form action="https://freecatphotoapp.com/submit-cat-photo">

on top of the input.

And place this

</form>

right after the input.

That’s it.

Make sense?
