Nest your text input element within a form element.

<input action="/submit-cat-photo">, is this the correct syntax for input type text.?

Make sure your form has an action attribute which is set to /submit-cat-photo

The action you have given inside input should be between <form>
action attribute exist only for <form></form> tag
