Can you make your own method , in other words I wrote all this code and nows it seems to be a method for this challange.

 addItem(id, products) {
    const product = products.find((item) => item.id === id);
    const { name, price } = product;
    this.items.push(product);

    const totalCountPerProduct = {};
    this.items.forEach((dessert) => {
      totalCountPerProduct[dessert.id] = (totalCountPerProduct[dessert.id] || 0) + 1;
    })

Is this correct or am I missing the mark here?

Ok I found the answer, you can make a custom method.
