The reduce method gives the wrong average and the submission keeps returning that the " The watchList variable should not change." ; yet I used both the slice method and the restructuring […watchList] methods not to mutate watchList (the array)… And I can’t see any watchList variable. I am lost.

The watchList variable is the very first thing in the code:

And can you tell me what this piece of code is doing:

And try console.log(parseInt('8.8')) or with any other string number with a decimal point in it and see what the results are. You might need to do some more googling for a better method to convert your string to a number.

Is to filter an return only the movies directed by Christopher Nolan. @Lego_My_Eggo

I get it for the parseInt. Thanks for the hint.

So it should be comparing item["Director"] to "Christopher Nolan". How do you assign a value, and how do you compare a value.
