GitHub flavored markdown

it’s been a few months since i started this thing… but i’m pretty sure " GitHub flavored markdown" wasn’t covered. Can anyone summarize or provide a link to a page with a summary of what this is and how to use it?

Challenge: Build a Markdown Previewer

Link to the challenge:

Hello there,

GitHub flavoured Markdown is the style of Markdown GitHub uses. This forum also uses a flavour of Markdown very similar to that of GitHub’s.

The best place for context is in the provided link: marked - Libraries - cdnjs - The #1 free and open source CDN built to make life easier for developers

Do not worry about never having heard of it. The point is to be able to use a front end library, and you are encouraged to use Marked.js which is a GitHub-flavoured Markdown compiler.

Hope this helps
