Golf Code test case no passing

I think I am doing it right but my test cases do not pass. What I am doing wrong?

var names = ["Hole-in-one!", "Eagle", "Birdie", "Par", "Bogey", "Double Bogey", "Go Home!"];
function golfScore(par, strokes) {
  // Only change code below this line
  if(strokes = 1){
    return names[0];
  }
  else if(strokes <= par - 2){
    return names[1];
  }
  else if(strokes == par - 1){
    return names[2]
  }
  else if(strokes == par){
    return "Par"
  }

  return "Change Me";
  // Only change code above this line
}

// Change these values to test
golfScore(5, 4);

You have a few issues. The first major issue is the following line:

if(strokes = 1){

I don’t think you meant to assign the value of 1 to strokes here.

Once you fix the above issue, you will just need to account for the other test case scenarios that you are currently not handling.

Silly me, I been looking all over code and not on that line. faceplam. Thanks.
