Challenge: Use the value attribute with Radio Buttons and Checkboxes

Link to the challenge:

You have changed a lot of the original code, which is baffling the tests!

    <label for="indoor"><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Indoor</label>
    <label for="outdoor"><input id="outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Outdoor</label><br>
    <label for="loving"><input id="loving" type="checkbox" name="personality"> Loving</label>
    <label for="lazy"><input id="lazy" type="checkbox" name="personality"> Lazy</label>
    <label for="energetic"><input id="energetic" type="checkbox" name="personality"> Energetic</label><br>
    <input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL" required>

I’d back up and reset the code for the challenge. Then I would only add the five value attributes and change nothing else.

it doesn’t work at all plz i need whole in writing.

Challenge: Use the value attribute with Radio Buttons and Checkboxes

Link to the challenge:

You didn’t reset the challenge and you added a bunch of extra stuff the challenge didn’t tell you to add.

You need to reset this challenge and stop adding stuff! Only add the value attributes.

Step 1: Reset the code. it’s the middle button.

Step 2:
As Jeremy said

The instructions say:
Give each of the existing radio and checkbox inputs the value attribute. Do not create any new radio or checkbox elements. Use the input label text, in lowercase, as the value for the attribute.

The instructions also show an example of what it’s looking for AND gives you half the answer.

<label for="indoor">
  <input id="indoor" value="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">Indoor
</label>
<label for="outdoor">
  <input id="outdoor" value="outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">Outdoor
</label>

Compare the example to what the BASE code has:

<label for="indoor"><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" > Indoor</label>
    <label for="outdoor"><input id="outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Outdoor</label>

So, you will want to change those to match the example, and then do the same thing to the other elements it’s asked you to.

didn’t do anything still same thing is there

looking at your picture: on line 21 you are missing a closing quote (") after indoor.
