Having problem with Fallbacks

Tell us what’s happening:

Your code so far

<style>
  :root {
    --red-color: red;
  }
  .red-box {

    background: var(--red-color, red);
    height: 200px;
    width:200px;
  }
</style>
<div class="red-box"></div>

Your browser information:

User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.102 Safari/537.36.

In the empty line under .red-box,

you want to have a fallback there.

Simply give your background color red there.

I had same problem…
.red-box {
background: red;

}

@Kate4 Hi there.

You need to use both the background declaration red and the variable declaration, hope this helps.
