Hello World problem

Tell us what’s happening:

I typed in World directly after Hello and before the tag and pressed run tests. All it says is //test running.

I literally can’t get off the first challenge at all. Help?

Your code so far

<h1>Hello World</h1>

Your browser information:

User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.140 Safari/537.36 Edge/17.17134.

What browser are you running this in?

Pretty sure it’s Edge, you should run the tests in Chrome.

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make easier to read.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

Note: Backticks are not single quotes.

Yeah, when I copy your code and run the test, it passes.

As suggested, try the Chrome editor. If you are, then reboot, clear the browser cache, try Firefox…

Sometimes they get a little glitchy and you need to give them a kick.
