Challenge: Step 55

Link to the challenge:

Hello there.

Do you have a question?

If so, please edit your post to include it in the Tell us what’s happening section. It looks like you accidentally deleted that section instead of filling it out!

Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.

Also, the more information you give us, the more likely we are to be able to help.

      <input id="loving" type="checkbox"> <label for="loving"> </label></input>

Sorry my brain is fried , iv been stuck on this for an hour. Why is this code wrong?

At first glance, you shouldn’t have the label inside of the input element. You don’t need a </input>. The input closes itself.

You are missing the label text Loving

You have two issues:

  1. You moved the input element outside the field element for some reason.
  2. You have deleted the text Loving that was associated with the checkbox.

Its step 55
Associate the text Loving with the checkbox by only nesting the text Loving in a label element and place it to the right side of the checkbox input element.

I dont understand why this is wrong?

There isn’t anything nested inside of the label here.

This shouldn’t be here.

I will have to come back to this tomorrow. I cant process it right now. Thanks for replying.
