Help with Nav bar!

I’m trying to create my product landing page and I’m having issues with nav bar. When I scroll down my page my lorem text appears behind my nav bar.

I want the nav bar to cover the scrolling page items if that make sense. like a traditional nav bar on any website. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong.
