Help with spacing out my links

Tell us what’s happening:
I cannot figure out how to space my three links, centered but not bunched up. Get started, recipes and shop - I’d like spread out, centered and on same line. I must have some small ish missing or incorrect class or something. I’ve tried many things but cannot get this. Could be my html and css. Thanks

You need to set nav to be a flex container (display: flex) then you can use justify-content with one of the space distribution options (space-around, space-between, space-evenly).

nav {
  text-align: center;
  padding: 10px;
  justify-content: space-evenly;
  display: flex;

BTW, you can’t have negative padding.

Thanks however, I don’t think that fixed or moved my links to be spaced evenly on one line. They are bunched together and on the left. Any other ideas? I did change my padding.

Check your CSS you have an error.

You have a semicolon and not a colon between the property and value.

/* you have */
  justify-content; space-between;

/* should be */
  justify-content: space-between;
