Challenge: Size Your Images
Link to the challenge:
What are you trying to accomplish? What problems are you having? What do the failing tests say?
This is a bit of a mess.

Hi,
Thank you for responding.
I am in the Size Your Images part.
Here is what the failing tests say.
// running tests Your
```element should have the class
```smaller-image
```. Your image should be 100 pixels wide. // tests completed
Your image element has become badly malformed. Can you explain this part?
This image will be a width of 100px;> src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg
I got that idea from someone else that was having the same problem, it was an answer they got.
if you would like, i could could pull it out a nd leave the rest
I suspect that the tests are failing because your image tag is messed up. If you reset it to the default code, you should be able to add only the class code.
Thank you so much for you help, it means a lot to me thank you. Here is what the failing tests say now
// running tests Your
```element should have the class
```smaller-image
```. Your image should be 100 pixels wide. // tests completed

It looks like you added a second image element.
Try updating the provided one:
<a href="#"><img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>
That was already there from the Basic HTML and HTML5 Courses
If you click the “reset all code” button on the challenge, it will return everything to the original state. There should only be one image element.
Here is what my code looks like resetting all code.
<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}
h2 {
font-family: Lobster, monospace;
}

font-family: monospace;
}
</style>

Yep. If you look, you’ll see that there is an image element provided. You should add the class to that image element.
Still getting the same failing tests

MrScott:
class="smaller image"
This is adding two classes smaller
and image
, not the smaller-image
class that the challenge requires.
Because you reset the code you’ll need to create the smaller-image
class again.
Here is what I have here
<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}
h2 {
font-family: Lobster, monospace;
}
p {
font-size: 16px;
font-family: monospace;
}
.smaller-image {
width: 100px;
}
</style>
and here in the img class
<a href="#"><img class="smaller image" src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>
Thank you, finally got it. I forgot to add the - between smaller and image thanks again.
Good job working through the problem. I know it was frustrating, but I bet the lesson will stick in your memory
Happy coding!
