Challenge: Step 37

Hello there.

Do you have a question?

If so, please edit your post to include it in the Tell us what’s happening section.

Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.

Also, the more information you give us, the more likely we are to be able to help.

your text element has too many closings, you can just put the type = “” next to the input without enclosing it

What exactly do you mean by ‘without enclosing it’, because the attribute and value need to be inside of the opening input tag.

im sorry  im not sure how to input values into the input element, i’ve tried but it keeps on saying there can be not more than 1 elements in between form element. mind my english

aaaa thank you! i’ll try that

adding the type attribute with the value text

Lets look at some other places where you have added attributes to a tag:

This tag has src and alt attributes.

This tag has an href attribute

We all start somewhere! It definitely takes time to get used to the lingo, but the lingo definitely helps us say exactly what we mean!
