How do know my cron is working or not?

how do know my cron is working or not ? i am working on Amazon Linux Please any on e help me

Lower the time period to something very short (a minute or two or less, or more if it’s something that’ll take time) and see if whatever it is you’re wanting to run runs? Then go get a drink, come back and see if it’s run again? I mean, make sure that whatever you’re testing isn’t going to cost you money, but just checking stuff is plugged in and turned on is normally the first thing you should do

Thanks for quick reply, but i need the which path should set and how can i get that path let me e.g.

files:
“/etc/cron.d/mycron”:
mode: “000644”
owner: root
group: root
content: |
*/3 * * * * /usr/local/bin /var/app/current/webroot/test.php
commands:
remove_old_cron:
command: “rm -f /etc/cron.d/mycron.bak”

/usr/local/bin — this path is correct or not how can i know that well i am executing the php script the we didn’t know ,that file executed or not
