How do you add a favicon to a unhosted webpage?

Help me. o-o plsssssssssssssssssssss

im using caret. i dont know if you cant do that on caret.

Here’s a rough explanation. It isn’t tied to any particular webhost.

You create a link element with a rel attribute of icon and set it to the path of your image.
