How many Gb do I need?

I’m buying a MacBook Pro for coding I’m starting out doing a course.

I’m curious to know if 512GB is enough? And also if 8GB of Ram is ok? Thanks in advance

Spend the money for 16GB Ram. Ever since I’ve started using Laptops with at least 16GB, no looking back for the daily convenience of having as good as no downtimes.

The 512GB: Depends on the size of your projects, for the average user it’s enough. You should store and backup important files in the cloud or on external drives anyway.
