You have two paragraphs, but they are supposed to be inside a main element. You do not have a main element.

What kind of element?

A <main> element (this is not a trick, it isn’t asking you to guess what element to use, it literally means main)

A main element although it’s more accurately referred to in the lesson as a tag.

I also say element and a lot of others do also so let’s quickly clarify…
a tag starts with < and will end with > so <div> is a tag. Read back through but a quick synopsis, some tags require a closing tag, others to not.

And element is something that is surrounded by tags. For example;
<header>Hello World</header>
So <header> is the opening tag, </header> is the closing tag and when there’s something between the tags, you have an element.

So, back to the lesson and why it’s failing for you. You have the required <p> elements you don’t have the <main> tags that it’s asking for to make the <main> element.

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge.

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.

Thank you for understanding.

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make easier to read.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

Note: Backticks are not single quotes.
