How to connect data base to Ecommerce website

Hi guys, I have issues uploading the stock from my shop on my website.

I would like to design a program that connects my access database with my website through FTP.

I was thinking in develop a program with the function to read the database, then transform that data in excel with the structure the FTP needs.

Highly appreciate some ideas and references about how to approach this.

If you mean directly, this won’t work at all for the vast majority of user of the site as they won’t be able to use FTP from a browser. Chrome completely removed all support in April 2020, for example.

You can do it server side, but it seems pointless, why not just put data into the database via HTTP?
