How to connect React (NextJS) frontend with SQL database
Google gave no answers to your question? I find it hard to believe.
Seems to me you have two options: write a back-end API for your sql database, or use a provided API layer that does it for you.
The first is considerably more work, but is built to precisely what you need. It will require knowing some server-side language, knowing how to talk to an sql service, and knowing sql itself.
The second option is easier to start, but can have other costs - financial or time spent customizing a generic solution. These are the “database as a service” things, like Firebase (which is sort of its own structure, closer to nosql ) or Supabase (similar to firebase, but backed by poatgres). There is still a learning curve with these, but not having to build an entire back-end can speed prototyping and development.
