How to connect VSCode to github , HELP!

I am new to programming and I am finding it very hard to connect my VSCode editor to my GitHub account. I have checked some confusing and conflicting videos on Youtube. I am beginning to feel aches in my “retina.” :man_facepalming:

Please, I need directions or recommend a good resource.:blush:
