Challenge: Turn an Image into a Link

Link to the challenge:

I’m sorry, I am not sure what you are trying to ask… You’ve placed a link to a submission page for " Thank You message for Cat Photo App form submission"

But this doesn’t match the challenge in your question - Turn an Image into a Link.

So that we can better assist you, what specifically are you having trouble with?

What is your question?

The code you have included does not have an input element or a form element.

myproblem is how to nest an existing input element inside a form element and assign “Thank You message for Cat Photo App form submission|” to the action attribute

A generalized example would be:

to nest <element2> inside <element1> :

<element2></element2> <!-- Nested element -->

So, you have a <form> tag and you need to nest <input> as in example above. .

Attributes go in the opening tag like this:

<element attribute="some-value">
Text goes here between element tags

As in the example above, you need to add an action= attribute to the <form> element with the link for the action the form will do.

You are given the URL to use for the action attribute in the challenge.

i still dont get it please

Hi, I’ve just done the tutoriel on HTML,
to insert a form you just have to do :

<form action="linkwhatyouwant">
 <input type="text">

Hope that can help you :fries:

<input type="text"placeholder=“Thank You message for Cat Photo App form submission|”>

so am i correct here?

If you do that you will have a box with “Thank You message for Cat Photo App form submission|” in. The placeorder is just to help the user put the right input

i have done that but I still failed… cant move to the next level

  1. first try to reset all the code,
  2. There is a piece of code in the left of the tutoriel to help you. Try to copy past it in your code, you have to nest the existing input element

is it better?

yea it worked…thanks
